Our guide Frederik told us broadly about it but not not guide us around. Next was the historic village of Uzes, where we were pointed to the most interesting walk through the village, culminating at the main square, where there was time to quench thirsts at one of several cafes. The temperature was 35°C. Interesting historic place. Highlight of the day, and final stop, was Pont du Gard, the astonishing and beautiful triple Roman aqueduct bridge over the river Gardon.
